The particular structure of our cartridges is ideally suited to target carbon features in all industrial fi elds.
Activated carbons are employed to treat surface water, chemicals, beverages to remove odours, solvents, chlorine, etc.
The excellent performance of the cartridges is due to their dual-level structure composed of:
- Outer level, pre-fi ltering layer eradicates rougher impurities by using either a microporous sintered polythene or polypropylene external hose
- Inner level, contains activated carbon, which adsorbs contaminants and organic fl uids with decolouring and deodorizing effect.
Characteristics:
The following two types of structure are available:
TYPE BP
NEW cartridge equipped with nominal rated spun bonded polypropylene pre-fi ltration layer and a unique sintered block that combines high purity powdered and granular carbon.
The sintering process results in the very highest available surface area and superior adsorption.
Polymer materials meet US FDA title 21 requirements for food contact.
Nominal micron rating: 5 micron.
TYPE V
Cartridge equipped with outer polythene pre-fi ltration layer and inside 320 grams of high quality granular carbon media.
The construction of Type V cartridge ensure minimum pressure drop and highest fl owrate.
Nominal micron rating: 10 micron.
