Description:
These are depth f ilter devices with nominal f iltering capacity. The cartridges are manufactured by winding several layers of yarn onto rigid cores with pre-f ixed tension programs. The characteristic honeycomb structure decreases the degrees of f iltering.
This structure gives a formation of several spaces and channels of decreasing size, therefore allowing a separation of contaminants, and a constant quality of the f iltered liquids. The technical characteristics are primarily due to the type and quality of the yarn, which has steady torsion and even winding.
Gruppo Cordenons can supply cartridges with cotton and polypropylene yarns, which after treatment, comply with FDA regulations. They are available in standard sizes from 10 to 40 inches, with nominal treatments ranging from 1 to 100 microns.
The materials used are polypropylene, defi ned as SF-FA, and cotton, defi ned SF-FM. If other yarns are required, they are available on request.
